ABSTRACT
In my writing relationship, I found inroads, insights and intrusions layering my analysis of learning from photographs and stories through/against/with cultural scripts acting to define girlhood culture in an already interpreted world. In composing this visual research method, the personal became clearer bit by bit, in ways I had not anticipated. Learning from seeing has challenged me and called into question self and the evaded in relation to the writing on the body of girls.
