ABSTRACT
For me, photography is a site of vulnerability for the photographer, for those photographed and for those who look at photographs. In coming to terms with my sense making in the photo-gathering, photo-taking, and photo-viewing, I engaged in “writing the light” as a way to frame my questions about the use of photography, about our sense of sight, and about how peripheral visions inform my thinking.
