ABSTRACT
This chapter examines the ways in which the history of the Holden car in Australia is presented to visitors of the National Holden Motor Museum (MHMM) in the regional town of Echuca in Victoria. The chapter also explores the museum within the broader context of the Holden car and the role it has played in Australian popular culture and the national story.
