ABSTRACT

Similar to waste, ZW and its goals can be defined differently by individuals, community or business entity. As a result, the practices of ZW would also be varied. Even the application methods and achievable goals would be significantly different when it comes to various stakeholders and their priorities in relation to waste management. However, one goal is common for all stakeholders practicing ZW which is not generating any unnecessary and avoidable waste whether that is through innovative design practice, alternative consumption lifestyle or consumer and producer’s responsible environmental stewardship. This chapter provides the case studies of ZW practices in our society.
