ABSTRACT
One of the main concerns of religious education is the promotion of pupils’ self-worth, which assists them to reflect on their uniqueness as human beings, share their feelings with others and appreciate the importance of forming and maintaining positive relationships. Listening to the views and ideas of others, including people from religious traditions and influential and inspirational leaders; both past and present, locally, nationally and globally, is valuable for this.
