ABSTRACT
The chapter starts from the author’s personal journeys in 2007 and 2008 from Oceania to Europe and then to Asia. This personal experience of migration, return migration, and re-migration, and the account of the author’s conceptualisation of “home”, citizenship, and sense of belonging provide an entry point that paved the way for her to understand the migrant identity and experience in a transnational world.
