ABSTRACT

After the editing of the first podcast episode is finished, it is time to post it online. Project management is basically the secret formula that big companies like Apple and Google use to take an idea and turn that into a product. One of the integral chunks of launching a podcast is having a website to grow a podcaster's brand and to which he/she can direct their audience for the latest news about the podcast. Hosting services offer a variety of resources for the beginning podcaster. Although bandwidth and storage size are good ways to evaluate which is the best service for the podcster, the most important reason to choose a hosting service is to get a reliable RSS feed. The RSS feed is the line of code that is sent to media players like iTunes and Google Play and podcatchers such as Stitcher and Overcast. Those are the places listeners go to download or subscribe to podcasts.
