ABSTRACT
In the course of preparing for viva voce, take it that you never get a second chance to make the first impression. In a small fraction of the total time that you took to complete the thesis/dissertation, you have to represent its totality most effectively. Therefore, viva voce should be taken with all seriousness and not to be treated as a mere formality. In all, you should be in a position to defend, explain and elaborate the points made in the thesis. If an unacceptable error is discovered, a typed correction may be handed over by the candidate to the examiner before the viva voce. And if such an occasion arises during the viva voce, an apology is the only way out.
