ABSTRACT

The media design needs to address intellectual property ownership of images through copyright and trademarks. Projection design has become a catchphrase for the technique of using images created with light for performance; most often they are being projected. Single image projectors are items that have been adopted by theatrical lighting designs and are commonly associated with them in modern design. The main concern of a media design team, beyond what is to be seen, is to ensure that the media is properly seen. Social media has allowed the sharing of experiences at concerts and special events where structures come to life with light. At some point, people found that the reader can form shadows into shapes that resemble something wholly different than that which created them, such as rabbits and wolves, with nothing other than a light and their hands.
