ABSTRACT

Drawing an inclined cuboid uses the same techniques as drawing an inclined plane (an inclined cuboid is composed of six inclined planes). An inclined cuboid connects to auxiliary vanishing points located above and below the horizon line. This chapter guides the reader through the process of establishing two auxiliary vanishing points that create right-angled lines, as well as creating inclines at a specific degree to the ground plane. Measuring inclines requires an auxiliary measuring point. Instruction is given on how to plot the location of these auxiliary measuring points. Measuring inclines requires special care, especially concerning the placement of the measuring line. Step-by-step instructions are supplied.
