ABSTRACT
Understanding the geometry of perspective opens many doors to create accurate images. Simple geometric principles can be used to divide lines or shapes into even segments. Similar techniques can be used to multiply lines or shapes. Tasks that may at first seem difficult often have simple solutions. For example, the shape of two intersecting forms can be complex, but this problem is easily solved by finding the intersection of two planes. This chapter explores some useful tools to solve some common perspective problems.
