ABSTRACT

Most objects have 90° corners. This chapter explains how to draw angles other than 90°. Understanding angles is key to understanding perspective. Perspective angles are drawn from vanishing points. The placement of the vanishing points determines the angles they create. Angles in one-point and two-point perspective are diagramed. How true angles are drawn and how they relate to the viewer’s position, and how the viewer’s position affects the location of vanishing points are illustrated. In addition, how to locate measuring points and how to measure angles are also illustrated.
