ABSTRACT
Postmodern sensibility and spirituality evince a strong visual orientation, both in terms of cultural activity and personal self-understanding. This essay explores this apprehension of current sensibility by way of contemporary academic research and contemporary artistic practices and their competing spiritual implications. The essay concludes with practical reflections on what a visually orientated spirituality has to offer the committed and the curious.
