ABSTRACT
Based on our findings, we may conclude that we have found the importance of personal integrity for the process of leadership while exploring the importance, philosophy and effects of servant leadership. We found that personal integrity has a significantly positive impact on the servant leadership style. Our goal, which is connected to raising awareness about the importance of personal integrity and the significance of caring for others, especially in the context of leadership, can be considered as a lifelong project. We can also understand it as an answer to the question of what we ourselves can do to improve the situation in the field of leadership, which Greenleaf described as one of the easiest issues, yet he himself found to be extremely difficult to answer (2002a: 29). The answer, in addition to establishing an objective, also requires a vision and a dream because every great achievement is born from big dreams (Greenleaf 1998, 2002a).
