ABSTRACT
In this chapter the principles of setting up services for vulnerable children are discussed, from policy and joint commissioning to implementation. These include joint care pathways, integrated care plans, interprofessional working and indirect service activities such as consultation. Ways of engaging children and youth in informing service development, and setting up systems of ongoing evaluation are presented. Applications for high and low/middle-income countriesare discussed separately.
