Child vulnerability in a global context

The impact of trauma on children and the implications for practice and services are considered internationally across different health and welfare systems (child protection, care, education and juvenile). These are categorized under high-income countries, with relatively well-developed specialist and occasionally designated resources; middle-income counties, with a mixture of generic mental health and non-statutory provision; and low-income countries predominantly relying on international and national NGOs.
