Why This Works-Adding liquid latex to Sculpt or Coat® makes the Sculpt or Coat® opaque and provides the same consistency as actual oyster meat. Artist’s Choice™ products were used for this recipe, but Rosco® scenic products (scenic paint and CrystalGel or any acrylic paint) could work. Using a glue syringe for piping aids in creating a consistent bead. Although it is possible to use a small zippered plastic bag with the tip of one corner cut off, this delivery system often takes considerable time to perfect a consistent bead.
