ABSTRACT
Families, communities, even friends and couples are systems in and of themselves. Simply put, a system is any interdependent set of objects. If we take Desmond Tutu’s (1999) perspective on Ubuntu (see Chapter Four : “Love Relationships”), the very nature of being human is to be embedded in various systems, to be interdependent with others. In essence, we exist within relational systems.
