ABSTRACT
A JE W , a Christian and a true believer chanced once to be travelling together-a true believer the fellow-traveller with two lost souls, like reason consorting with carnal soul and devil. On reaching a certain staging post the three travellers were given a present of halwa by a fortune’s favourite; a benefactor brought halwa before the three strangers from the kitchen of ‘ I am near’ . Having high hopes of the heavenly reward, he brought them hot rolls and a dish of honey-halwa.
