ABSTRACT

As one reads through the bulk of materials from many scholarly sources, the process can quickly become overwhelming. It is important to remain focused on the topic and resist the temptation to read interesting but peripheral articles. It is also important to take notes on the content of the literature and its relevance to the topic as you read each piece of literature. When you run into a book or article title that appears to be related to the topic but turns out to be irrelevant or insignicant, make a note of it to avoid repeating the same search. Begin content analyzing by grouping concepts and issues into categories from the early stage of reading.
