ABSTRACT

The current economic crisis is part of the crisis cycle of advanced capitalism that will continue to disrupt our economic systems until the basic causes of economic and social imbalances have been treated. And given the complexity of economic problems and the lack of a viable theory to treat them, the road to durable prosperity will be long and the destination may never be reached. Yet, the ongoing economic crisis also provides an exceptional opportunity to change economic policies using new theories to overcome the limitations of crisis capitalism.
