ofIroquoianstructuretraditionallycalled'incorporation'.Certaintypes
ofcomplexnominalformation,nounstemincorporation,certainnominal
typesthusfarneglected,andtherelationofallthesetotherulesalready
givenandacceptedinpreviouschapterswillbediscussed.Weshallbeled
torefinetheassignmentofconstituentstructure,butingeneralitwillbe
seenthatthenewrulesrequiredaremaximallycompatiblewithanddepen-
dentonthosegivenearlierandthusthesenewrulesofferpowerfulsupport
forconclusionsalreadyreached.
