ABSTRACT

The most important factors to a successful and robust Key Stage 3 (KS3) English curriculum are collaboration and the process of continual reflection throughout the year about how successful the curriculum model in place is in terms of students department's goals, which are usually reviewed annually in the Departmental Development Plan. The most recent review of the KS3 English curriculum model has seen even more evolution in the long-term plan. Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) and the increasing number of smartphones and tablets that help a teacher immediately connect with these online schemes of work mean that these virtual folders can be accessed from anywhere. On the sequence of learning, as it is the mandatory set of learning objectives that staffs are expected to cover with their pupils during the scheme of work.
