Introduction

The book begins with an introduction describing climate engineering, including both solar radiation management (SRM) and carbon dioxide removal (CDR) techniques. Although I discuss CDR in several chapters, I make it clear that the focus of the book is on SRM. I make the case here that those concerned with climate justice must take into account the political feasibility of different policy options. The introduction also includes a concise overview of the following six chapters.
