ABSTRACT

I count her truly blest and greatly honoured, who may and can suffer with those she loves. It is to see sorrow and not share it that makes one say in the bitterness of soul, 'Why am I alone?' And then, as more sorrow comes on oneself, and humbles one, one feels, 'I was not worthy to share the suffering.
