ABSTRACT

I have been this morning to work at Marlborough House, and Ruskin is at work there himself. I am not in the same room with him, but he comes sometimes to look at my drawing. He said how sorry he was to have delayed sending an etching to me, and when I answered that I was sorry to trouble him, he replied so kindly, 'You never gave me any trouble at all.' He spoke of the evening he had spent with us with such pleasure.
