ABSTRACT

The Wadi Ziqlab Project began in 1981 as the fieldwork for the author’s doctoral research (Banning 1985), and began with a survey of the distribution of archaeological sites, of virtually all periods, over the drainage basin of Wadi Ziqlab in al-Kura district. As such, it built on previous surveys in the region and especially those of Schumacher, Glueck, and Mittmann.
