ABSTRACT
A dog was taken to the local vet in a very rural county in a southern state. She had been hit by a car, limped to the only home she knew, after which her ‘owners’ took her to the vet. While she was there, the vet discovered damage to the dog’s anus. The dog’s tail had been pulled six inches away from where it should be. There was long-term damage and the damage revealed sexual abuse. It turned out she had been used in a sodomy ring that was thought to be servicing 17 to 23-year-old boys.
