ABSTRACT
In the previous chapters, nine Pacific Rim case studies were presented, each focusing on a particular economy’s conception of the key management of technology (MOT) tasks that it faces, the economic development and public institutional context within which MOT is organized, and the nature of MOT training and other skill-formation mechanisms provided by government, the academic institutions, and the private sector.
