ABSTRACT

The interests of people are the central concern of people if people think so. Some “higher power” may not necessarily be particularly concerned with the interests and desires of people. But in considering their problems people are going to do so from the perspective of people. Judgments about right and wrong, or whether one type of technology works better than another for a particular purpose in a particular setting, are people judgments. Knowledge accumulates in the minds of people as they think about and rethink what they consider to be problems and what will be, from their perspective, solutions to problems. And it is people who make the judgments as to which technique serves best in the interests of people—not necessarily in the interests of coyotes.
