ABSTRACT
The next four chapters discuss examples of economic behavior drawn from the experiences of the sample. This chapter concentrates upon issues of labor mobilization and associated conflicts in cooperative-household relations. The next two chapters consider further examples of such conflicts in the pig-rearing and subsidiary branches. Finally, chapter 10 discusses factors influencing technical innovation and other changes accompanying improved rice yields.
