ABSTRACT

The Procurement contract is used for the state procurement of agricultural products, and it serves as a means of organizing the economic ties of agricultural enterprises with processing organizations and industrial and trading enterprises. The procurement contract is concluded on the basis of plans of sale to the state of agricultural products which were approved by collective farms, state farms, and other agricultural enterprises and associations. A procurement contract is concluded for one year or for several years. A long-term contract is refined every year by the parties by taking into account the procurement plans for each year. The quantity, assortment, and time periods for sale in the contract are established on the basis of the State Plan for Procurement of Agricultural Products. The responsibility of the processor arises from the refusal to accept the products provided for in the contract or for delay in accepting them, as well as for late payment for the accepted products.
