ABSTRACT
Wuxian Shao said, “Come, I will tell you. To heaven, there are six directions and five elements.2 When the emperors and rulers act in accordance with them, there is good government. When they defy them, there is turpitude. Observe the precepts of the Nine Luo,3 whereby government can be guided and virtue can be developed. Survey and illuminate all under the sky and all will be sustained. This is brought about by the August Rulers.”4
