ABSTRACT
The Weimar parliamentary state had been smashed. A new authoritarian orderunder Hitler and the Nazis had been established. But to Hitler, the real task wasat hand. Already in July 1933 he had proclaimed to the SA: “We have the power. Today nobody can offer us any resistance. But now we must educate German man for this new state. A gigantic project lies ahead.”1
