ABSTRACT

Thirty-three persons, emigrants, passed through Tuam yesterday, en route to America. Out of this number, there were no less than thirty-two Protestants from the Islands of Achill, which has attained such notoriety in the annals of proselytism. Bianconi’s cars ³ have been engaged for the purpose of conveying on tomorrow 61 inmates of the Ballinrobe workhouse to the railway. ⁴ Their destination is the British Colonies, in America.
