ABSTRACT
Besides, many of the items produced by the women such as embroidery, hand-knitted woollen socks, home-made clothes and the like which earlier were regarded as important for the household and its pride, are today looked upon with scorn by most men. Nowadays the men prefer nylon socks and ready-made clothes and tend to regard this part of the women's work as of little practical value, as something for the women to occupy themselves with for lack of other important tasks.
