Chapter 18 consists of a journal that Kendall Baker wrote during the last two weeks of his father’s life. It includes Baker’s description of the dying process, as well as the interactions of family members as they prepared for the loss of this significant family leader. Katharine Baker contributes an introduction to the journal, framing the family experiences in the context of Bowen theory.
