ABSTRACT

In this chapter, we’ll examine how student-created websites can play an important role in argument writing instruction by helping students connect with others who share their interests. First, we’ll look at what this concept is, exploring its fundamental features and an example of a student’s work. Then, we’ll explore the benefits of using student-created websites in writing instruction. Next, we’ll check out a description of a lesson on this topic; finally, we’ll conclude by examining some recommendations to use when you help your students create websites that help them share their ideas with authentic audiences.
