ABSTRACT
One of the most significant factors that can make or break your ability to conduct meaningful research at your institution is your ability to recruit committed research assistants. Although it may take some time to identify and train qualified students, once they are engaged in your program they can work on almost all aspects of your research. This assistance will free up your schedule allowing you to balance your teaching and research activities. Having student assistants will also allow you more time to focus on the aspects of the research that only you can accomplish.
