ABSTRACT
Chapter 7 presents and sums up the empirical observations made in all six cases across the two conflict systems between China and Taiwan and between the US and Iran, as examined in the two preceding chapters. It presents in a nutshell the sanctions strategies observed and their influence on conflict development, highlighting the peculiarities of negative, positive and combined sanctions.
