ABSTRACT
UnderImamAhmedagreementsweresignedwithforeign countries(includingtheUSSRandChina)fortheconstructionofroadsconnectingthemajorcities,agriculturalprojects andanumberofsmallindustries.Table2showsthat,already undertheImamateofAhmed,smallindustrieshadslowly beguntoincrease.Moreover,medicalmissions(Russian, Chinese,ItalianandFrench)beganworkingatthattime 2and anumberofdevelopmentprojectswereinoperation.
