ABSTRACT
The children are now looking after Nancy and Lawrence’s jewels. They enter the room one morning to discover they are gone, and in their place are a few feathers, dropped gems and twigs. On exploring the scene, they find a scroll from Captain Finne explaining that his boat has been shipwrecked. He sent his parrot, Piper, who took the jewels thinking she could use them to purchase a new ship. Captain Finne needs our help to fix the ship and find Piper. As soon as Piper is found, the jewels will be returned.
