ABSTRACT

Chapter 6 explains the psychosocial theory of Ensembling individuality. It resolves the relational dialectic of independent versus embedded social condition through the concept of relationality; the process dialectic of unitary versus decentered identity is resolved in emergent multidimensionality. Ensembling individuality is complex, including an integration of various aspects of self, others, and the physical environment within a dynamic, emergent whole of individual and social development.
