ABSTRACT
Sometimes we watch a film and lose ourselves in it, while in other films the filmmaker has created something that makes us feel uncomfortable, aware of ourselves watching a film, but unable to turn away. The most affective scenes are often those in which something puts us on the edge of our seat and a chill creeps up our spines even when we don't why.
