ABSTRACT
During this lab, you will learn the basics of pathological conditions, anomalies, and indicators of occupational stress. Specifi cally, you will learn how to recognize the three basic pathological changes to bone: bone loss, bone gain, and bone deformation. In addition, you will learn the basic nature of anomalies: accessory bones, nonfusions, accessory foramen, and miscellaneous changes. Finally, you will learn the four types of occupational stress markers: modifi cations to areas of insertion, osteophytosis, discrete markers, and stress fractures.
