Now, view the laboratory pelvis. Is it larger and more rugged than other pelvises in the laboratory? Is it tall and narrow or short and wide as illustrated in Figure 8.1 of the textbook? In addition, is the pelvic inlet (the area enclosed by the os coxae and sacrum when viewed superiorly) heart-shaped or more oval (see Figure 8.2 in the textbook)?
