The Seattle Times editors made a decision about where to place this AP story. It may be interesting that it did not appear in the first or “A” section of the paper, where regional news also appears. However, it does signify the importance or lack of importance of the story. Does it mean people are not as interested in environmentalism as they were in 1989?
