ABSTRACT
Four of the five manuscripts that I have used in this book were made available to me in the form of microfilms. MS NLR.Arav-Evr. 070, however, was made available to me in the form of a paper copy. Three manuscripts, BL.Or. 2549, JTS.ENA. 3913 and NLR.Arav-Evr.070 are in Arabic script, including the Hebrew text, whereas the other two manuscripts, BL.Or. 2503 and BL.Or. 2504 are in Hebrew script. For the sake of simplicity, I have assigned the manuscripts letters from A to E. The following is a brief description of each manuscript.
