Hunt,… Folly and Danger of Methodism (1809); Monthly Mirror, 2nd Series, VII (April 1810), 275–284. This is an important statement of Hunt’s early reputation as a journalist. Notice, however, the passage on page 278 in which the reviewer illustrates the very spirit of religious intolerance against which Hunt was arguing.
