ABSTRACT
TRADESMAN; or, Commercial Magazine (1808–1815) was a London monthly magazine that published fifteen volumes (numbered both consecutively and as vols. I-IX and New Series, vols. I-VI). Besides printing commercial news and reprinting hints on manufacturing and craft techniques, the magazine reviewed a few books — but only one poem that concerns us.
